The Business Show and Business Startup 2015, took place at Kensington Olympia on 03-04th December 2015. It's a free business exhibition to attend and offers a wealth of opportunity, advice and information crucial for ongoing business growth within a challenging economy. Brandlective® were among 250 businesses exhibiting and stationed in the ‘Startup’ zone surrounded by 13 digital marketing competitors. The challenge was how to stand out from the crowd and capture as many leads as possible.
Brandlective® produced a Live Events Marketing strategy to capitalize on the energy of the event and take advantage of the extraordinary footfall of over 23,000 people in the form of a free website giveaway.
Brandlective® utilized the season to their advantage by producing a life size Santa Claus which attendees could be photographed with in order to go in the draw to win a website development package.
By providing Christmas themed props Brandlective® had queues of attendees taking a Selfie with Santa Claus. Contact information of the Attendees were captured through a quick scan of their badge and each attendee would then snap their #santaselfie and were prompted to share the image on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to go in the draw to win a website.
Brandlective® created a fun, engaging live event marketing strategy that allowed thousands of leads to be captured. 7 Days after the event the lucky winner was announced across Brandlective®’s social media accounts. Attendees that participated in the competition by posting their #santaselfie online, raised awareness of Brandlective®’s business and the agency reported an increase of online followers by 11%. Leads captured via the #SantaSelfie competition have ongoing communication with the agency through an email marketing campaign which 6 months after the event has increased Brandlective®’s client base by 6.6%
